The Smuggler Cavern two-page tile can represent the natural entrance to a larger cave system or dungeon, and/or can be employed for a one-off encounter.

This product will possibly be featured in a promo pack for attendees of Trident Con 2016 (Maryland, US)

Scale:  Grid=1inch, intended for use with 25mm-30mm miniatures.

The design also doubles as a small pirate cove -an open to the elements, exterior location.

Feature details include abandoned barrels, a wrecked wooden dinghy boat. The "floor" is stone, sand and sea.

The 1 inch grid is inferred by elements in the illustration.

In line with other Inked Adventures tiles and sections, all of the art was drawn by hand on paper and colour was added digitally, giving each product a unique, illustrative look.

Letter size and A4 page formats supported.  A guide page is provided with suggestions for assembly.

The PDFs no not use layers so that they can be viewed in full on a variety of platforms and browsers.

Options:
Colour without background/edging.  Colour with black background/edging.
Monochrome line art (black and white).  Monochrome line art with shadow (b/w - greyscale).

The line-art-only designs are ideal for children (and adults) who may prefer to colour their dungeons by hand. :)

This tile is relatively setting-neutral, the wooden features can fit in with medieval, pirate-era, through to Victorian or 1930s settings.

No VTT or non-PDF graphics are provided in this product, which is intended and sold specifically for home printing. Please refrain from leaving reviews berating the lack of graphics for electronic tabletop software. There are no claims in the product description that VTT graphics are being provided.  This is a traditional print-and-play product.

Please Note: This title may also be available soon as a seperate small pre-print poster and graphic. The plan is to send purchasers of the PDF product on this page a price-reduction code for the pre-print poster (but until the proofs have been finished, Inked Adventures reserves the right the change this arrangement).

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
