RR7 Van Richten's Guide to Werebeasts (2e)
by Mats H.
Publisher: Wizards of the Coast
Date Added: 04/15/2024 14:57:15
pixel_trans.gif RR7 Van Richten's Guide to Werebeasts (2e) As the discussion mentions, this product is missing 2 pages: Page 94 - Appendix for the DM - Summary Tables Page 95 - Warejaguar stat page I am not too annoyed at this, because neither of these two are particularily useful for what I got this book for. This book is packed with Ware-lore. Habbits, lairs, mind-set, and any and all information that a DM could want to inspire their game. Also a good option for any player playing a Ware-hunting character. Print quality is otherwise excellent.

RR8 Van Richten's Guide to the Created (2e)
by Mats H.
Publisher: Wizards of the Coast
Date Added: 04/15/2024 13:42:17
pixel_trans.gif RR8 Van Richten's Guide to the Created (2e) **Book Quality: **Great print - Clear text and good contrast on the images, very good reproduction. High quality cover, great looking book. **Book Content: **The Van Richten guide books are an amazing read. They are written in first person from Rudolfs perspective and are filled with "I hear that" and "I was told this" type setup. So not only is it great for a DM to use for inspiration on creating great new monsters and BBEGs, I would be fine with a player reading this book if he was playing a character that had a focus on the created. The 5e Van Richtens guide is a good book with lots of options for players and DMs who want to run a Ravenloft game. I would however suggest that anyone interested in monster lore, pick up the 2ed books, even if they are not planning to run a ravenloft game....

Book of Lairs [Forgotten Realms] (2e)

pixel_trans.gif Book of Lairs [Forgotten Realms] (2e) Great print - No issues with any pages. Maps are good and the adventure ideas are really good as well. Maybe not the most enticing name though. One gripe, there is no print on the spine. This makes it look like an eyesore in my bookshelf, and most other print books (looking at stuff like Skullport) does have printing on the spine, so whats up Book of Lairs? If you don't care about the spine, this is a 5/5 Star Review. Great replica of the original book.

Trial of the Slime Lord
by Taylor
Publisher: Jordan Rudd
Date Added: 04/15/2024 10:21:06
pixel_trans.gif Trial of the Slime Lord This is an excellent introduction to Shadowdark and level 0 gaunlets. I ran this for my first time DMing Shadowdark, and all my players were new to the system as well. My players instantly embraced the lethality and dark comedy of the situation they had been thrust into. By the end they were chanting the incantations of the slime lord in unison whenever anything noteworthy happened. They escaped the dungeon with many tales of sacrifice and glory. Highly recommended.

Superseeds Presents #3: Candlekeep (Advanced FASERIP)
by Benjamin
Publisher: Patchlord Productions
Date Added: 04/15/2024 10:18:37
pixel_trans.gif Superseeds Presents #3: Candlekeep (Advanced FASERIP) After a botched immortality ritual, the Italian mystic Cosimo di Cosenza's soul is trapped in the candle his revenant bears. This Superseed covers his backstory, gives you some ideas for plots involving the villain, and stats him up in Advanced FASERIP. The backstory is only a few pages long, but it makes good use of that space, giving you a good picture of Cosimo's personality, along with characters like Theodore Barstow, a Victorian wizard who thought he could control Candlekeep. You'll also get six plot seeds, each one finding a different way to use Candlekeep as a villain and giving you lots of potential adventures to use this character in. Each seed gives you an open-ended situation, so you and your players have a lot of leeway in responding to the various plots. Finally, Candlekeep's FASERIP stats are provided. He's got a dangerous soul-stealing attack to watch out for, but if that's not dangerous enough for your party then feel free to make use of the Cosimo Eternal option fr...

Superseeds Presents #1: The Armagedroid (Advanced FASERIP)
by Benjamin
Publisher: Patchlord Productions
Date Added: 04/15/2024 10:05:32
pixel_trans.gif Superseeds Presents #1: The Armagedroid (Advanced FASERIP) This Superseed works a lot of magic into a few pages: after the title page and license info there are three pages of backstory and plot ideas for the Armagedroid, a power-copying android in the vein of DC's Amazo. Three pages might not sound like a lot, but the author does a great job working in related characters like the Armagedroid's creator Droidmaster, or its fellow android Lord Machina, to hint at a rich superheroic world lurking behind the scenes. Along with the background information, you also get six seeds for plots you can take the Armagedroid on, with a nice diversity of approaches it can take to your players' characters. Each seed introduces a situation, but leaves you open to many different ways of resolving each one. Finally we have the stats for the Armagedroid, a truly fearsome power-duplicator who can prove a fair match for virtually any superhero team after copying some of their powers. If that's not enough, you also get power-sets for the Armagedroid after copying...

The Horror on Tau Sigma 7
by Patrick C.
Publisher: Magnum Galaxy Games
Date Added: 04/15/2024 08:16:45
pixel_trans.gif The Horror on Tau Sigma 7 This is a nice and nasty little scenario. You can run it as a one shot or prequel. The layout is easy to follow and gave my players very nice Alien Vibes without being derivative. Ran it using* Mothership*, *Call of Cthulhu*7 E and *Those Dark Places* as the system and it went smooth each time.

They Came From the Cyclops's Cave!
by Chris J.
Publisher: Onyx Path Publishing
Date Added: 04/15/2024 03:58:57
pixel_trans.gif They Came From the Cyclops's Cave! They Came From... has always been a fun series, but with Cyclops's Cave and [CLASSIFIED], i feel the writers really hit their stride with both the tone, and the content they were aiming at. As a lifelong fan of fantasy movies, and an early devotee of Harryhausen, this book is the game i didn't know i needed in my life, and it really nails the feeling, tone, power, and reach these movies have. The most impressive thing the writers did was cover so many varied elements of the genre, covering everything from swords and sandles, epics of the gods, Jim Henson-esque tales of wonder, knights in shining armour, Shakespearean fantasy, as well as the orc (or Orx here) and goblins that we often associate with certain brands of fantasy! Highly recomended!...

pixel_trans.gif Bloodlines: The Ageless Very nice collection! I'll be leaving rating on this, the Ressurected, and the Devoted, but all those collections AND the clan books are a lot easier and fun to read than some of the early books these pull from to me. Thanks to None More Dark for keeping Vampire and Changeling alive! I bought all three and have been binge reading them!

Book of Seemings
by Michael Y.
Publisher: White Wolf
Date Added: 04/15/2024 00:16:19
pixel_trans.gif Book of Seemings This book is great! I'm so happy that None More Dark is keeping not only VtR alive, but Changeling as well! This is the kind of book I wish I had when I ran my first CofD game. My only one compaint is that I feel as though this book is somewhat retreading old ground that didn't need converting with the first seemings chapter, but they expand on the themes of them well and I love everything else added! Especially the contract seeming twists being added for every seeming on every contract, and the updated kiths. I look forward to more Changeling from None More Dark after this!...

Encounter Building Post-Apocalypse Enclaves
by Zain
Publisher: Eric Bright
Date Added: 04/14/2024 23:10:24
pixel_trans.gif Encounter Building Post-Apocalypse Enclaves An amazing addition to any apocalyptic setting, this deck helps DM quickly generate towns with people, goods and services that make every enclave feel Ike a place! Whether in Red Markets, Fallout, or even Cyberpunk, these enclaves can be tooled for any setting and give you that edge when you need to let your players know what town is in the opposite direction of the quest you made, or just want a starting point to flesh out your next town. And if you don’t like what you read, you can always draw another, or mix and match. Millions must try!...

CRUSADERS
by Derek
Publisher: Legrand Games Studio
Date Added: 04/14/2024 18:09:26
pixel_trans.gif CRUSADERS Simple mechanics that invoke the old school 80's comics feel both in themes and game-play. I also greatly enjoyed the variable nature of character/story creation, inspiring choice and creating fantastic stories (and heroes to inhabit them) that I may not have thought of before. If you want some kickass superhero action with a retro flair *and* you want to be able to play said game same evening you get the book? I don't see anyone beating Crusaders.

Twists of Obscenity: Esoterica of the Baali
by Jose B.
Publisher: White Wolf
Date Added: 04/14/2024 17:47:39
pixel_trans.gif Twists of Obscenity: Esoterica of the Baali Highly recommended, even if you do not intend to use these as player characters it has a well researched deep dive into the Baali clan. Written for V20 but very useful for V5 in terms of lore and ideas for investments, powers, disciplines (even amalgams) that any storyteller could use to plug into a chronicle.
